1. Though we woke up to -8 temps, and 30 mph winds, no one had to be anywhere today, so we could stay put--indoors!

2. While looking through the Sunday paper, we found G's birthday gift and ran out to pick up the last one! :)

3. Tried a new recipe from one of my Xmas gifts, BOB. It was a steakhouse shepherd's pie, and it was just right for such an awful, cold evening.

4. Winter solstice...daylight only gets longer from here on out. ;)
